“On June 3rd, 2021 in beautiful Uluru, Joanne and I tied the knot. Our planning started long ago and searching for a professional photographer became a priority. We found Lisa Hatzimihail (Hatz) of Alice Springs. That was the best decision we ever made.
Lisa is a true professional. We connected with Lisa online and met her virtually on a few occasions leading up to the big day. Her attention to detail prior to the wedding was incredible. She provided us with a wonderful timeline for the wedding and some suggestions on how best to proceed on the big day. The sound of her voice over the phone was warm and welcoming, which put us at ease immediately. Then when we finally met her on June 3rd, it was like we had known her all our lives.
The whole time it was like talking to a long time friend. Her smile is contagious and you can’t help but smile and be happy when you’re around her. Oh and we did have quite a few laughs too. Lisa uses a silent shutter on her camera which allows for a comfortable setting. Her attention to detail and scene setting is extraordinary. Both Joanne and I are not naturally photogenic, but Lisa, captured every moment of our joy on this special day.
She sent us a “Sneek Peek” of the photo gallery which were stunning. We were also able to share these immediately with our family and friends. She then sent us the full set about 4 weeks later and they were absolutely out of this world. The number of photos and the quality of images were incredibly professional.”

“As a local of Alice Springs, we all know that Lisa is the best photographer in town! Lisa posted a competition on Facebook for a Pet Photoshoot and we were lucky enough to win. We have a 7 month old Labradoodle puppy who can sometimes be silly and not listen. Lisa was attentive and patient with him. She even taught us some noises to use for him to listen! We were amazed with how the photoshoot went. Lisa had original ideas and some great poses to use. She even brought tasty dog snacks!
We went out to the Clay Pans after a rain and the scenes were beautiful. Lisa made us feel at ease and the shoot was great fun. We were eagerly waiting for the photos which were sent to us much quicker than expected. The photos were amazing.

“From the moment we met up for coffee that first time, you have been everything we could have wanted in a photographer and more. You took in all of our requests, and did the things that we didn’t even know we needed. Working with you felt more like planning a wedding with a big sister by your side, your guidance didn’t stop at just photography! You were always ready to talk things through, debrief when things were getting stressful and always ready to offer advice when trying to plan a wedding in a small town.
You were very flexible, and executed all of our wishes – especially the one where we wanted unlimited photos of our dog Marley! On the day it felt like you were part of the family, all of our guests were so impressed and came to tell us how amazing you were. You did an amazing job capturing the group and bridal party shots in record time – so that we could make the most of spending time with our family and friends who had traveled interstate. You even sorted out a few mishaps here and there between taking all the photos, and you still didn’t miss a shot! I have particularly fond memories of doing our first look a week early, I’ll never forget how excited you were when I suggested it! “That means we will have TWO sunsets!”
The photos themselves blew us away – such a gorgeous backdrop and you captured it all perfectly. You made us feel so at ease, you made it fun and we were actually comfortable in front of the camera – something we were nervous about when we were choosing our photographer. Probably something that definitely needs to be mentioned – is your patience and persistence in dealing with the flies! Not just on the day putting up with our screwed up faces and waving hands, but in the post production as well – editing out every last one until it was like they were never there.
Lisa, your generosity and dedication to your work is completely unmatched, I would recommend you to anyone in a heartbeat.”

Lisa was absolutely amazing!! She went above and beyond to make sure our entire wedding experience was perfect in every way. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable the entire day and captured every moment beautifully. Lisa was extremely prepared for any situation, even pouring rain! She provided our entire bridal party with umbrellas and had her husband on standby to hold an umbrella over her own equipment, while she stood out in the rain to capture every detail of our wedding. She calmed our nerves by being so organised!
She was constantly checking in with the MC, videographer, family and friends to make sure everything ran smoothly. We adore our wedding, engagement and pre wedding dinner photos all captured by Lisa. “Where do I start? Lisa was amazing! She gives off an amazing vibe where you automatically just start smiling around her. She guided us through every step and told us how to move. She even brought props for our little man, unfortunately my little dude wasn’t digging them. The fact that she thought outside the box for us (who she has never met) meant a lot for us.
The photos came back and we were BLOWN away! I couldn’t wait to share the memories she made for us. We did the mini 20 minute session with a one year old and it was the perfect session. Any longer and I don’t think my little man could handle it. We will definitely be using Lisa again!”

“Where to start? Lisa is hands down one of the best photographers I’ve come across. Not only was she a pleasure to work with but she is also very professional! Booking the session was a breeze on her easy to navigate website. Her pricing is a great reflection of the quality of both her work and the products she has to offer.
The session was a dream! She has a list of pre-chosen sites or you can choose your own for the shoot. The session lasts for about an hour and she makes sure to get some beautiful shots. The session itself goes by quickly and smoothly. She’s very good at making you feel natural in front of the camera. She knows just how to get the best poses and there’s no awkward “what do we do next” like I’ve experienced with some photographers.
After the session you get your proofed images back to you in a quick manor which I was thankful for. The session also comes with some quality prints and images on a usb that you’re free to print. I went ahead and ordered and album from her. I couldn’t be happier with it! I highly recommend Lisa!”

Lisa was open to hearing my ideas about the sorts of photos I wanted and effortlessly guided Ollie and myself through the photo shoot. She helped me (someone who didn’t want to be in any photos) feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I am so glad she talked me into getting a few photos of myself with Ollie, as they turned out to be some of my favourites. “My husband and I decided to elope for our wedding and headed to Ayers Rock (Uluru) in the NT.
Photography was important to us as we knew that it would be only way to share the experience with our family and friends and we were so relieved when we found Lisa who was willing to travel to Ayers Rock all the way from Alice Springs to shoot our ceremony for us.
Right from the very beginning Lisa was extremely helpful, asking us all the right questions and making sure she knew exactly what sort of photos we were looking for. Then leading up the wedding Lisa always made herself available at any time to discuss all of our “out there” ideas and themes. Nothing was ever a problem for Lisa, she remained enthusiastic no matter what the request, even when she discovered that our mode of transport after the ceremony was via a camel!
On the day, Lisa was fantastic, getting every shot that we wanted plus many more, including our favourite sunset silhouette photo. Even with all of the challenges of an outback ceremony and photo shoot like the sand, the wind and the heat, Lisa was there with us for every big moment capturing it perfectly.
After the day had come to an end and we were relaxing back in our suite with a glass of champagne, we were thrilled to receive a sneak peak photo from Lisa which absolutely made our night! We also got to see more photos via Facebook in the following days which was great as we are both very impatient and couldn’t wait. Every photo was exactly what we wanted it to be, we could not have been happier with the way they all turned out. I have no hesitance whatsoever in recommending Lisa as a photographer for your wedding photography!”
