Your Questions Answered

How many images will we get?

Depending on the package you choose,you can expect no less than 75 images per hour of coverage (usually more!). There is no limit on the amount of images I take, and only those that are duplicates / not exposed well or not flattering / subject blinking etc are discarded –  I take multiples of every image, to ensure I end up with a perfect shot, and do not deliver all of these of course!

Can we have copies of all the original photos?

The photos you receive are selected because they are in focus, exposed well and flattering. I would never deliver images that are not all of these things – I want you to love every image you receive! Every image in your gallery is enhanced with care for the best colour and exposure.
When will we receive our photos?
All the images you receive are beautifully enhanced and this does take time. Because I know you can’t wait to see your images – you will receive a preview of some of my favourite images from the day within just 48 hours afterwards! Depending on my workload, the full enhanced set will be available for you within 5-6 weeks after your wedding day.

We are marrying in secret - can we delay the preview?

Of course! If you are marrying in secret be sure to let me know beforehand or in your wedding questionnaire. I will not share any images publicly until after you have made your announcement. You’ll still get a preview though! I’ll send it to you via email.

How do we receive our photos?

No need to wait for the post – your photographs will be delivered to you via online gallery, with a USB hard copy to follow in the post. Your online gallery is available to you for an entire year! It’s also accessible on any device, so you can share your photos straight from your phone! Share the gallery with family and friends and even purchase prints.

Can we print our photos ourselves?

Absolutely! Your images will be delivered to you in a high resolution size that is perfect for display on your computer, phone and sharing via email and are printable up to around 30 x 20″. I always recommend professional printing of any images you would like to display for the best quality, colour reproduction and longevity. Unfortunately the prints you can get from your local store are just not comparable to professional prints mostly with the way the colours print, the sharpness of the image and how long they last before fading and warping.
Your beautiful photos deserve to be printed beautifully too! My professional lab creates stunning quality images at a great price point, that are also gauranteed for an awesome 75 years! A La Carte prints and products are available within your online gallery and include Fine Art Gift Prints, Framed Prints and Canvas Prints.

Do you offer hourly wedding coverage?

My packages are designed to suit both those couples who would like just the basics covered and also those who want the whole shebang! For elopements coverage starts at 3/4 hours and for weddings coverage starts at 5/6 hours and you can have coverage for up to 10 hours.

How long does the photo shoot last?

This is a great question! I include a customised timeline for all of my couples, which outlines how long each part of the day is likely to take. This makes it easy for you to choose how much coverage time you need! Generally, your bridal party location photographs (or just the two of you) is scheduled to conclude just after sunset. I don’t like to spend hours capturing you and your bridal party as it is important that you enjoy your day with your guests. To get the most out of your time with me, I like to work quickly in a fun and engaging way, so we can capture those epic moments and then get you back to your guests!
I try to capture everything we need during locations portraits in around 1 – 1.5 hours (depending on the size of your bridal party and plus any travel time between locations).

What gear do you shoot with?

I use the latest professional equipment and currently shoot on dual Sony A7RIII’s. Having two cameras means I have a back up in case something happens to one camera but I also like to shoot on both during the day to get a greater variety of shots. I also carry a wide range of lenses, flashes, memory cards and batteries. I carry back-up’s of everything, because your wedding memories are super important!

How can we pay?

I know that planning a wedding has costs involved, so I try to make things as simple as possible for you. Once your retainer is paid to secure your spot, the remainder is due 4 weeks prior which you can pay in a lump sum then, or you can also pay in monthly installments which I can set up for you. I accept EFT and ALL major credit cards with no fee (Mastercard, Visa or Amex).

How far in advance do we need to book you?

I work on a first in first served basis. I would always suggest if you are considering a specific date but haven’t yet booked your venue, to check my availability first to avoid disappointment. I typically have bookings up to 12-18 months in advance.

Do you travel?

I sure do! I have photographed weddings all over Australia including Katherine, Darwin, Cairns, Port Douglas, The Central Coast, Melbourne and Adelaide. I am always available to travel!
