What can we expect?
My sessions are very relaxed, but also fast moving and fun to keep big kids and little kids alike entertained and engaged. I find the best moments are captured when you forget the camera is even there, so I’ll make sure you’re relaxed and enjoying natural interactions with each other to capture those authentic moments you’ll love!
What time are sessions?
I love beautiful light! We’ll schedule your session during the Golden Hour, usually in the evening although if you have little ones who are better in the morning, during the warmer months we can schedule an early morning session.
Can we choose the location?
Absolutely! Beautiful locations enhance the look of your images, so I always recommend a picturesque spot for your session and have a great range of places I like to use that you can choose from. There are also some great options for pet-friendly locations.
What time of year is best to book?
I encourage sessions to be booked during the temperate months March – May and August – October. I understand this isn’t always possible, so am happy to schedule your session any time of year, just remember that in the summer months we’ll be starting very late in the day for the cooler weather and in winter, we’ll usually need to start earlier in the day to avoid the really cold weather at sunset. We can usually work out something to suit you and your family!
What if it rains?
The quality and style of my images relies on great natural sunlight. I’ll check the weather forecast and touch base with you several days before your session and if the forecast doesn’t look great (rain, heavy cloud, high winds or generally unstable weather), we will probably need to reschedule to another day. This ensures the best possible results from your investment.
What happens after the session?
I understand that we are all busy people! So I aim to make the process an easy and stress free one. After your session, you’ll receive a preview of my early favourite images on social media within a few days. Your entire session will be available to view within 10 days and when they’re ready, you’ll receive a beautiful online gallery to share with family and friends and to download your high resolution images. These copies are yours to keep and you can share them and make as many prints as you like! I do also have a fantastic range of professional prints and products available to purchase via your online gallery if you’d like to.
Can our pet come?
Absolutely! I love photographing all the family, and up to two pets can be included in your session at no extra cost. There are a great range of pet-friendly locations we can choose from.
What should we wear?
Once you’re booked in, I’ll send you a comprehensive session preparation guide including help with outfit choices, tips for the best results and what to bring along with you.
Can we print the photos?
Of course! The photos you choose will be delivered to you in a high resolution size that is perfect for display on your computer, phone and sharing via email and are printable up to around 30 x 20″. I always recommend professional printing of any images you would like to display for the best quality, colour reproduction and longevity. My packages you can choose from include digital only options or a great range of prints and products to choose from at discounted prices.
When will we see our photos?
All the images you receive are beautifully enhanced by me, and this does take time. Because I know you can’t wait to see your images – you will receive a preview of some of my favourite images from your shoot within just 48 hours afterwards! Depending on my workload, your full session will be ready to see within 10 days.
How are the photos delivered?
Your photos are delivered digitally through your beautiful online gallery – download your photos right to your phone, laptop or desktop computer.
What happens if we're sick and can't make it?
I understand these things happen! Especially with little ones, the last thing you want to be thinking about is losing your deposit if you or one of your family are sick. So long as you let me know at least 24 hours prior, we can absolutely reschedule your session for a day when everyone is feeling better.
