Star of Alice Wedding Photographer

– Alicia & Lincoln –

I first met Alicia and Lincoln in November last year, soon after they got engaged after 11 years together! From Alicia’s very first email I knew I was about to meet a fun, awesome couple and that it was going to be such a great experience working with them. I wasn’t disappointed! Aiming for a simple and happy wedding, Alicia and Lincoln chose the Strehlow Lawns at Araluen Arts Centre for their ceremony venue. After the ceremony with officiant Jenny Nixon, their guests made their way to the absolutely beautiful Star of Alice Function Centre / The Hideout, with dazzling string lights, beanbag chairs and plenty of fire pits. Not that they were needed – it was a gorgeous evening to be outdoors! After taking photographs at Honeymoon Gap, we headed back to the Star or a night of fun!

I had such a great time photographing this wedding and all the little touches that made it special! Everything about it was amazing – the venue, the flowers, THAT dress! And of course the couple with such a fun connection that makes it easy to see why they are so great together. Alicia has a smile that lights up the room, and Lincoln does the best funnies to put that smile there like his amazing animated character impersonations, which he showed off at the reception!
