Uluru Pre Wedding

– Stephanie & Tony –

Steph first got in touch with me about her plans to have pre wedding photos at Uluru in February; she and Tony wanted to get married at home in Melbourne, but they both love to travel and Steph decided she’d really love to bring Tony to Uluru for their wedding photos – she visited with a friend once before and loved the tranquility and beauty of the desert. In the car ride between photo spots, Tony told me he is usually a holiday-with-cocktails-around-a-pool kind of guy so he was pleasantly surprised to find he loved the same things about Uluru as Steph did when they arrived! There is just something about the desert and Uluru. By the time the big day rolled around, Steph’s family had arrived and everyone was ready and excited for an afternoon of adventure in this magical place!

And what a blast we had! Steph and Tony could not stop laughing – I’m sure some of it was out of nerves from being in front of the camera, but I think you have to agree, these two rocked their photos – they look amazing!! Together now for 13 years, Steph and Tony know each other inside and out, are so comfortable together and were completely adorable in front of the lens – I literally could not put the camera down, I wanted to keep snapping their photo all night long! Steph’s family were too sweet and fun as well, it was really lovely to have them all here to join in (and help to make an emergency dress alteration and veil fixing!!)

By the end of the day Steph and Tony felt like old friends – that’s part of what I love so much about what I do! Getting to know my couples while taking beautiful portraits of them that will become memories they’ll treasure for many years to come. Steph and Tony – I hope you love these first images from your pre wedding shoot, I can’t wait to share the rest with you soon! Enjoy!
